Curly Parsley

There are two types of parsley available: curly "North American" and flat leafed "Italian".

  • Use Italian parsley around tomato rosettes
  • Randomly toss finely chopped Canadian parsley over platter for a rustic look
  • Use Canadian parsley to fill up gaps between foods in a platter or plate

Flat leafed parsley can also be used to decorate foods. It has a strong flavour, which makes it more suitable for a recipe that calls for parsley flavour.
Curly parsley is great for decorating foods. It can be cut up into smaller sprigs, or finely chopped, however, it doesn't have much flavour.
